Role Summary
The Senior IT Consultant will lead and deliver enterprise technology consulting engagements, providing advisory services, technical assessments, architecture recommendations, and solution designs across multiple technology domains. The role focuses on evaluating current-state environments, identifying technology gaps, developing target-state architectures, and producing consulting reports that support technology modernization and enterprise technology transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Consulting & Advisory
- Lead end-to-end consulting engagements across diverse enterprise technology domains.
- Perform current-state technology assessments, architecture reviews, maturity assessments, and technical gap analyses.
- Facilitate technical workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather business and technical requirements.
- Develop advisory reports, assessment findings, architecture recommendations, and consulting deliverables.
- Present technical findings and recommendations to client stakeholders and executive management.
Enterprise Architecture & Technology Modernization
- Evaluate enterprise technology capabilities across IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, cyber resilience, and supporting technology platforms, and develop recommendations.
- Develop enterprise architecture principles, target-state architectures, and reference architectures across technology environments.
- Assess enterprise AI use cases, AI platform readiness, and IT infrastructure capabilities, and develop high-level AI reference architectures.
Cyber Security & Cyber Resilience Consulting
- Assess cybersecurity and cyber resilience capabilities, including security posture, cyber recovery readiness, and gap analysis.
- Develop target-state cybersecurity and cyber resilience architectures, including security controls, cyber recovery, identity security, Zero Trust, and governance recommendations.
- Evaluate cybersecurity technologies, resilience solutions, and security architectures, and develop architecture recommendations, security best practices, and transformation roadmaps.
- Develop end-to-end high-level solution designs (HLDs), integrated solution architectures, and architecture principles across enterprise technology domains.
- Define technology integration approaches, deployment models, and solution design standards across enterprise technology environments.
- Prepare solution architecture documentation, technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and consulting deliverables.
Provide consulting, technology assessments, architecture recommendations, and solution designs across technologies including:
- Cyber Security & Cyber Resilience Architecture.
- Compute, Virtualization & Hyperconverged Infrastructure.
- Enterprise AI IT Infrastructure Advisory (Preferred).
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree or relevant technical certifications preferred.
Core Skills
- Experience developing enterprise architecture, target-state architecture, reference architectures, and high-level solution designs.
- Demonstrated ability to develop evidence-based consulting reports, technical assessments, architecture recommendations, and executive presentations across diverse enterprise technology domains.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured consulting capabilities.
- Excellent technical documentation, consulting report writing, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience leading engagements and working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and executive communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts, architecture recommendations, and consulting findings effectively to stakeholders.
Experience Requirements
- 8–15+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, cyber resilience, and technology consulting.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise technology consulting engagements involving technology assessments, architecture reviews, solution evaluations, and enterprise architecture development.
- Experience in AI IT infrastructure consulting, including AI infrastructure architecture, platform assessments, and technology evaluations, is preferred.
- Experience delivering consulting engagements for enterprise organizations, financial institutions, and government organizations is preferred.
