Senior Information Technology Consultant (weekend, shifts) #IKR
Job responsibilities:
Strategic Consulting & Advisory
- Provide technology consulting services to clients on IT infrastructure, cloud transformation, digital modernization, and operational excellence.
- Assess current IT environments and recommend future-state architecture and transformation roadmaps.
- Conduct IT infrastructure, operations, security, and cloud maturity assessments.
- Develop business-aligned technology strategies and implementation plans.
Solution Architecture & Design
- Design enterprise-grade infrastructure, cloud, hybrid-cloud, and multi-cloud solutions.
- Advise on cloud-native, microservices, containerization, and platform engineering initiatives.
- Design high availability, disaster recovery, active-active, and business continuity architectures.
- Lead solution reviews and provide technical governance.
Cloud & Infrastructure Transformation
- Drive cloud migration and modernization projects.
- Advise on Kubernetes, container orchestration, service mesh, and platform engineering practices.
- Design observability, monitoring, logging, and performance management frameworks.
- Support infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) initiatives.
IT Operations & SRE Consulting
- Lead SRE, DevOps, and IT Operationstransformation programs.
- Establish operational governance, incidentmanagement, change management, and reliability frameworks.
- Improve system availability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Implement best practices for monitoring, alerting, automation, and capacity planning.
Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management
- Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions,and solution presentations.
- Collaborate with client executives, businessstakeholders, and technical teams.
- Manage project delivery timelines, risks, and technical dependencies.
- Provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycles
- Any ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor
Job requirements:
- A minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
- At least 10 years of IT industry experience, with minimum 5 years in senior consulting, architecture, infrastructurel eadership, or transformation roles.
- Proven experience leading large scale infrastructure and cloud transformation projects
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
