Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Czym będziesz się zajmować?

PROJECT

Join a global engineering environment focused on building and automating reliable on-prem infrastructure and platform services.

YOU WILL

• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for on-prem infrastructure, including compute, storage, network, OS, and database components.
• Develop reusable automation modules and templates using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Automate OS and database provisioning, configuration, patching, hardening, and compliance activities
• Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform automation
• Implement pipeline controls including approvals, audit trails, secrets management, and change traceability.
• Work with OS/DB Patching and Platform Engineering teams to automate infrastructure operations and reduce manual work.
• Create infrastructure monitoring, alerts, and dashboards focused on availability, performance, capacity, and deployment success.
• Participate in incident management and on-call/rota support
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement automated fixes to prevent recurring incidents
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, runbooks, operating procedures, and continuous improvement of engineering practices

Kogo poszukujemy?

MUST HAVE

• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation
• Hands-on experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools
• Experience with Terraform or equivalent IaC tooling
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure or platform changes
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of database infrastructure and operational processes such as provisioning, configuration, patching, backup, and restore
• Experience with Git, branching strategies, and code review workflows
• Good understanding of infrastructure security, including secrets management and least-privilege access
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good English communication skills and ability to work across engineering and operations teams

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Experience with observability tools and SRE practices, including metrics, logs, traces, SLIs/SLOs, and error budgets
• Experience with policy-as-code and compliance automation
• Experience integrating automation with ITSM/change management processes
• Knowledge of enterprise tooling such as artifact repositories, secrets vaults, and CMDB
