Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Summary
Hands-on infrastructure engineering across a hybrid Azure/M365 environment—Azure IaaS/PaaS, Entra ID, Intune, Windows Server, and virtualisation—for a small SME infrastructure team in London.
We’re supporting a growing SME with a modern Microsoft estate and a clear roadmap of cloud, identity and endpoint modernisation. You’ll join a small, high-performing infrastructure team (3–6 engineers) delivering hands-on engineering, project work and operational improvements across a hybrid Azure/M365 environment.
The role focuses on:
- Azure IaaS/PaaS administration and resource management
- Entra ID (Azure AD) identity, conditional access, SSO
- Intune device management, compliance, autopilot
- M365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint)
- Windows Server (2016–2022), AD, GPO, DNS/DHCP
- VMware/Hyper-V virtualisation
- PowerShell automation
- Backup/DR (Veeam or similar)
- Infrastructure upgrades, migrations and modernisation projects
You’ll be right for this role if you have:
- Strong Azure + M365 engineering experience
- Hands-on Intune/Entra identity management
- Experience delivering infrastructure projects end-to-end
- A background in SME or mid-sized environments (not MSP)
- A proactive, engineering-led mindset with clear communication
