Senior Infrastructure Engineer
About the company
Our client is a cybersecurity company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the networking and distributed systems layer of a software platform, building low-latency services that handle heavy request volumes. Divide your time between hands-on engineering and working directly with customers on their deployments.
What you'll do
- Build protocol-aware proxies and gateways that handle several kinds of network traffic.
- Design a very fast request path so policy checks run on every request without noticeable delay.
- Create high-volume data pipelines and storage so activity stays searchable for investigation and analysis.
- Lead customer deployments across cloud, private network and on-premises environments.
- Own a product area end to end, working in person alongside the founders.
- Spend roughly 80% of your time on engineering and 20% with customers.
Requirements
What we're looking for

- Prior work at a technology company where the underlying system is the core product.
- Clear communication and sound product judgment for working directly with customers.
Bonus points
- Hands-on exposure to traffic routing, request handling layers or large-scale data movement.
