The company
A renowned brand within the financial services sector is expanding their technology team in Singapore. They are in search of a Senior Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to join them in modernizing their IT Infrastructure
The role
- Design and maintain scalable infrastructure across global data centers and cloud.
- Provide Windows Server escalation and Linux Server Level 1 support.
- Implement Windows Server security, hardening and compliance standards.
- Drive automation to improve performance and reduce manual processes.
- Develop tools and scripts for deployment, monitoring and system management.
- Work with global stakeholders on infrastructure requirements and implementations.
- Identify and deliver automation opportunities across global teams.
- Ensure infrastructure security, availability, reliability and performance.
- Modernize data center operations through technology and process improvements.
- Manage and optimize servers, storage, virtualization and HCI environments.
- Ensure high availability through backups, monitoring, capacity planning and maintenance.
The requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 8–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, virtualization and HCI environments, with strong automation capabilities.
- Proficient in Bash, Python and PowerShell scripting.
- Strong hands-on experience with Nutanix, Linux, Windows Server, VMware, Veeam, NetApp, Docker and Kubernetes.
