Senior Infrastructure & Security Engineer

You may already be the person your team calls when there's a complex network issue, a firewall problem, or an access concern. You are likely a Senior Systems Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, or Tier 3 Support Engineer who naturally gravitated toward the security side of IT.
Lhoopa is looking for a Senior Infrastructure & Security Engineer who can take hands-on ownership of our internal IT and security environment. We don't need you to be a pure Cybersecurity Architect. What matters more is that you understand network infrastructure, can solve problems independently, and know how to lock down systems as our business scales.
What You'll Get to Own You'll be the technical owner responsible for stabilizing and securing Lhoopa’s internal IT environment, including:
Networks, firewalls, VPNs, and office connectivity.
Google Workspace administration and cloud application security.
Endpoint protection, patching, and device management.
Employee access controls, MFA, and onboarding/offboarding security.
System backups and infrastructure documentation.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage and improve the company’s network, firewall, and infrastructure environment.
Strengthen employee access controls and secure Google Workspace.
Deploy and monitor endpoint protection, device encryption, and patch management.
Act as the final escalation point (Tier 3) for complex technical and network issues.
Identify practical security risks and implement hands-on solutions to fix them.
Keep network diagrams, asset inventories, and system documentation up to date.
Who We’d Like to Meet You could be a strong fit if you have 4–6 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure, systems administration, or network engineering, with a strong interest in security.
We’re particularly interested if you’ve had hands-on exposure to several of these areas:
Network and firewall administration (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Sophos, Cisco).
VPN and connectivity troubleshooting.
Google Workspace Administration.
Device management and deploying endpoint security/antivirus.
Managing employee access and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Backup and recovery execution.
