As Senior Insight Officer you’ll:
- maintain expertise in assigned systems design, logic, data structures, and practical application to support effective service delivery,
- be responsible for carrying out data assurance audits and routine data checks to ensure the quality and integrity of data entered and extracted from the assigned systems are of the highest quality,
- proactively engage with frontline stakeholders to conduct analysis of operational systems and their variation across sites and teams to address inconsistencies in data collection, identify anomalies and ensure reporting continues to meet practical, day-to-day needs,
- ensure reporting is reflective of operational needs and that these are translated to data structures through ongoing dialogue with frontline users, systems development teams and developers,
- contribute to systems development by mapping processes and pathways to identify collection friction points and recommend systems or user experience changes to relevant teams to improve entry and protect data integrity,
- provide operational systems technical expertise and analytical understanding to members of the Research Team, stakeholders, external collaborators, partner universities, and project students/interns; set methodological standards and ensure analyses meet scientific and ethical expectations,
- be responsible for the end-to-end production of internal reports, operational briefings, and related outputs, ensuring effective timeline management and robust, high-quality evidence through thorough validation and verification processes,
- take authority for designated projects: review methodological choices, maintain cross-project methodological consistency and ensure appropriate documentation.

You will have extensive experience querying complex CRM systems and will have a proven track record of analysing large, multi-layered datasets and translating them into actionable operational intelligence. You’ll have strong communication skills, including producing clear written reports and translating complex findings into accessible narratives for technical and non-technical audiences. Additionally, you will have experience of working with operational data, demonstrating the patience required to understand practical barriers and undertake in-depth investigation to resolve anomalies, nuances, and complex data issues.
