Senior Inspector QA/QC

Responsibilities

  • Inspection Leadership: Lead and supervise inspection activities for piping, pressure vessels, and tanks.

  • Welding & Materials Verification: Ensure welding procedures, consumables, and materials comply with ASME, API, and CSWIP standards.

  • Quality Assurance: Oversee QA/QC systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and international codes.

  • NCR & Corrective Actions: Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs, and monitor corrective measures.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare inspection reports, maintain QA/QC records, and ensure traceability of certificates.

  • Team Supervision: Mentor junior inspectors, coordinate with QA/QC managers, and liaise with clients.



Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

  • Mandatory Certifications: API 510 (Pressure Vessels), API 570 (Piping), CSWIP 3.1/3.2 (Welding Inspection).

  • Minimum 10+ years QA/QC inspection experience.

  • Strong knowledge of ASME, AWS, API, ISO codes.

  • Work location - Mesaieed​


Skills & Competencies

  • Expertise in inspection methodologies and fitness-for-service (FFS) analysis.

  • Proficiency in NDT techniques (RT, UT, MT, PT).

  • Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills.

  • Ability to manage inspection teams under tight turnaround schedules.
