Senior Inspector QA/QC
Summary
Lead QA/QC inspection activities for piping, pressure vessels, and tanks, ensuring compliance with ASME, API, and CSWIP standards and overseeing NDT techniques on offshore projects.
Responsibilities
Inspection Leadership: Lead and supervise inspection activities for piping, pressure vessels, and tanks.
Welding & Materials Verification: Ensure welding procedures, consumables, and materials comply with ASME, API, and CSWIP standards.
Quality Assurance: Oversee QA/QC systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and international codes.
NCR & Corrective Actions: Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs, and monitor corrective measures.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare inspection reports, maintain QA/QC records, and ensure traceability of certificates.
Team Supervision: Mentor junior inspectors, coordinate with QA/QC managers, and liaise with clients.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Mandatory Certifications: API 510 (Pressure Vessels), API 570 (Piping), CSWIP 3.1/3.2 (Welding Inspection).
Minimum 10+ years QA/QC inspection experience.
Strong knowledge of ASME, AWS, API, ISO codes.

Expertise in inspection methodologies and fitness-for-service (FFS) analysis.
Proficiency in NDT techniques (RT, UT, MT, PT).
Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
Ability to manage inspection teams under tight turnaround schedules.
