Senior Instructional Designer | Onsite, Noida | Open to India-based candidates only

Employment type: Full-time employee role

Work model: This is a fully onsite position based in our Noida office

Build learning that actually works, not just launches

If you're an experienced instructional designer looking for a role where you drive the design decisions instead of just executing someone else's brief, this is that role.

As a Senior Instructional Designer at Infopro Learning, you'll own the full design cycle for complex learning solutions built for Fortune 500 clients. You'll make the calls on structure, modality, and interaction design. You'll storyboard in Storyline or Rise, push back on SME feedback when it doesn't serve the learner, and use AI tools to move faster without cutting corners on quality.

This isn't an entry-level design job with a senior title attached. It's a genuine step up in autonomy, and it's built as a deliberate stepping stone toward our Learning Experience Architect path.

What the work actually looks like

  • Designing a solution from a brief: writing objectives, choosing modality, deciding how the interactions should test what they're supposed to test

  • Building storyboards and scenario branches in Storyline or Rise, and making sure they hold up pedagogically

  • Working through SME feedback, deciding what to take and what to challenge

  • Running QA on your own work or a colleague's, checking accuracy, accessibility, and design integrity

  • Using AI tools to speed up drafting and generate scenario variations

  • Sitting in on needs analysis conversations and starting to recognize what's actually driving the brief

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or a related field

  • 4-7 years in instructional design and learning development

  • Solid command of ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, and adult learning principles, applied independently

  • Proven ability to build functional eLearning modules in Articulate Storyline or Rise, including branching and SCORM compliance

  • A working eye for visual design: color theory, typography, layout, and WCAG accessibility standards

  • Comfort applying AI-assisted workflows across the design and development lifecycle

  • Strong written and verbal communication; you'll work directly with SMEs and stakeholders

Nice to have: exposure to performance consulting, learning ecosystem or curriculum mapping concepts, learning analytics platforms, business simulations or immersive learning (VR/AR), and change management or adoption strategy.

Why Infopro Learning

You'll work on learning programs for Fortune 500 companies, with real mentorship from senior architects and room to grow into more strategic work as you prove yourself. It's a team that values good design thinking over busywork, and a career path with an actual next step, not just a bigger job title.
