A senior architect role in Sydney (hybrid, 3 days onsite) designing end-to-end AWS integration architectures using API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, IAM and CloudWatch. The person owns API lifecycle and governance, leads microservices and event-driven design across enterprise systems, and works with AWS networking, hybrid connectivity, IaC and CI/CD.
Sydney | Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
What you'll be doing- Design end-to-end integration architectures using AWS including API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, IAM, Secrets Manager and CloudWatch
- Lead API, microservices and event-driven architecture across enterprise systems
- Own API lifecycle, governance, security and integration standards
- Design secure, scalable and highly available solutions
- Work across AWS networking, hybrid connectivity and Infrastructure as Code
- Drive CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring and operational support
- Integrate ERP, CRM, SaaS, IoT, data platforms and third-party systems
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders and manage delivery partners
- 10+ years' experience in integration, middleware or enterprise technology
- Strong hands-on AWS integration architecture experience
- Deep knowledge of REST APIs, event-driven architecture and microservices
- Strong understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, IAM and API security
- Experience with AWS networking, IaC, CI/CD and DevOps
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- Experience in healthcare, manufacturing, IoT or regulated environments is highly regarded
