We're partnering with a well-established Australian organisation that is continuing to invest in and grow its internal technology capability.

As part of this growth, we're looking for experienced Integration Engineers to join a highly capable Platforms & Applications function working across a complex enterprise environment.

The Role

This is an opportunity for an Integration Engineer who wants genuine end-to-end ownership of the solutions they build.

You won't simply pick up a development ticket, write the code and hand it over.

You'll work across the complete integration lifecycle, from understanding requirements and contributing to the technical approach through to development, testing, deployment and ongoing BAU support.

You will:

• Design, develop and maintain APIs and integrations across internal and external systems

• Build solutions using Microsoft Azure Integration Services and C#/.NET

• Work across Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus and API Management

• Develop secure REST and SOAP APIs

• Build event-driven and message-based integration solutions

• Contribute to integration design and technical decision-making

• Work closely with Architects, Analysts, Product Owners and business stakeholders

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Azure DevOps

• Own integrations through development, testing, deployment and production

• Troubleshoot complex production and data-flow issues across multiple systems

• Provide ongoing BAU support for the solutions you build

• Improve and modernise existing integrations

• Maintain integration designs, technical documentation and engineering standards

About You

You're a hands-on engineer who can think beyond the development ticket.

You understand how systems interact, can work through complex integration problems and are comfortable taking ownership when something doesn't behave as expected in production.

You'll ideally bring:

• Strong commercial software development experience

• Hands-on C#/.NET capability

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Integration Services

• Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus and API Management

• REST and/or SOAP API development experience

• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns

• Event-driven and message-based architecture experience

• Hands-on CI/CD experience, preferably Azure DevOps

• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills

• Experience supporting applications and integrations in BAU

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Experience with low-code iPaaS platforms and relevant Microsoft or integration certifications would be advantageous.

Most importantly, we're looking for engineers who want to understand what they're building, why they're building it and how it operates once it's in production.
