Senior Integration Engineer
Summary
Senior engineer who designs, builds, and supports enterprise APIs and integrations for a large regional retail group's tech team, working with API management platforms (Apigee, Layer7, Dell Boomi), applying API security (OAuth, TLS/SSL) and traffic governance, and monitoring performance in an Agile/Scrum environment. Hybrid role based in Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong.
Salary: ₱100,000 – ₱130,000 per month

About the Client
Our client is a large, regional retail group with a strong presence across Asia. Their technology team supports enterprise systems that connect stores, e-commerce, supply chain and corporate platforms. They are expanding their integration team in Metro Manila.
Responsibilities
Design, build and support enterprise APIs and integration solutions
Manage APIs across API management platforms such as Apigee, Layer7 and Dell Boomi
Apply API security standards, including OAuth and TLS/SSL
Set up traffic governance such as quotas and rate limits
Own API specifications and technical documentation
Work with lead architects on integration strategy in an Agile/Scrum environment
Monitor API performance, run root cause analysis and report on integration issues
Must-Haves
5+ years of experience in API development and enterprise integration
Hands-on experience with at least one major API management platform (Apigee, Layer7 or similar), with exposure to more than one platform
Strong knowledge of API security (OAuth, TLS/SSL) and traffic management
Experience with REST APIs and third-party service integration
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Willing to work hybrid, 2 to 3 days onsite in Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong, Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM
Nice-to-Haves
Dell Boomi certifications (Associate or Professional Integration Developer)
Experience building API performance dashboards and operational reports
Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Cloud or DevOps certifications
Full-stack experience (Node.js, C# or similar)
