Senior Integration Engineer
On behalf of our client – a major international enterprise operating across global commercial and industrial sectors – we are seeking a hands-on Senior Integration Engineer to join their technology center in Warsaw.
In this role, you will help design, engineer, and maintain a core transactional integration backbone that connects enterprise applications, data platforms, and cloud ecosystems across international operations. This is a great opportunity for a strong Senior Software / Cloud Engineer or Tech Lead ready to take on strong technical ownership and architectural responsibility in a stable in-house environment.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Engineering & Design: Build and design resilient, scalable event-driven architectures and system-to-system integration patterns for enterprise solutions.
Technical Guidance & Standards: Provide technical leadership to an engineering team (5–10 developers), establish coding guidelines, conduct code reviews, and drive engineering quality.
Hands-on Ownership: Balance technical design with practical engineering involvement, maintaining code-level quality, test coverage, and production reliability across cloud integration pipelines.
Global Collaboration: Work alongside international product owners, enterprise architects, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Technical Profile & Core Competencies
1. Software Engineering & Architecture
Practical knowledge of REST & GraphQL APIs, Event-Driven Architectures, messaging systems, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience with distributed systems and system-to-system integrations.
2. AWS Cloud Platform (Core Focus)
Hands-on expertise with AWS services: AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, IAM, CloudWatch, and AWS Networking.
3. Software Engineering & DevOps
Strong Node.js capability (essential for guiding developers, hands-on work, and conducting thorough code reviews).
Practical familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps, and Linux/Shell Scripting.
4. Technical Leadership
Proven experience mentoring or leading technical team members (e.g., Tech Lead, Senior Engineer).
Drive to establish engineering standards, perform rigorous code reviews, and take ownership of production solutions.
Candidate Profile & Mindset
Experience Level: Senior Integration / Cloud Engineer, Tech Lead, or Senior Developer looking to expand into system architecture.
Background: Candidates looking to transition from consultancy/B2B project work to a long-term, stable in-house employer are highly encouraged.
Communication: Professional English fluency (written and spoken) for daily work in international project teams.
