Senior Integration & Security Engineer (Integration Platform)

The Senior Integration & Security Engineer manages and secures enterprise integration platforms, including API Gateways, event-driven messaging, and secure file transfer systems. The role involves designing integration architectures, enforcing security governance, and collaborating with teams to ensure reliable system connectivity.
We are looking for a Senior Integration & Security Engineer to manage and enhance our enterprise integration platform, including API Gateway, secure file transfer, and event-driven messaging systems. The role focuses on ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable integration of systems, while maintaining strong governance and compliance standards across all integration channels.
What You'll Do:
Security & Governance
- Design and enforce security controls across the integration platform
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Implement access control, authentication, and data protection measures
- Support security reviews, audits, and vulnerability remediation
Integration Platform Management
- Manage and support enterprise integration platforms (API Gateway, messaging, file transfer)
- Configure and enforce policies such as access control, traffic management, and security rules
- Support onboarding of systems into the integration platform
- Monitor platform performance and resolve issues
Enterprise Messaging (Event-Driven Integration)
- Design and support event-driven integration architecture using enterprise messaging platforms
- Enable real-time data streaming and asynchronous communication between systems
- Define messaging patterns (e.g. publish/subscribe, event-based workflows)
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance of event-driven integrations
- Support onboarding of applications to the messaging platform
Integration Delivery
- Design and implement integration solutions across APIs, secure file transfer, and event-based integration
- Work with application teams to define the most appropriate integration approach
- Ensure seamless connectivity between internal systems and external partners
- Promote integration standards and best practices
File Transfer & Partner Integration
- Manage secure file exchange processes (e.g. batch file transfers, partner integrations)
- Ensure data transfers are secure, reliable, and traceable
- Support onboarding and lifecycle management of external partners
Operations & Support
- Maintain integration platforms, including patching, upgrades, and issue resolution
- Monitor system health and ensure high availability
- Respond to incidents and troubleshoot integration failures
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on integration requirements
- Provide guidance on secure and efficient integration design
- Support project delivery and technical discussions
What You'll Need:
- Experience in system integration, middleware, or integration platforms
- Exposure to API-based, file-based, and/or event-driven integration
- Experience working in enterprise or cloud environments
- Understanding of integration platforms and API Gateway concepts
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture (e.g. messaging or streaming platforms)
- Knowledge of application security and access control concepts
- Experience with secure file transfer processes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Singaporeans and Permanent Residents preferred.
Good to Have
- Experience with MuleSoft, Azure API Management, Kafka, or similar platforms
- Exposure to identity and access management solutions
- Knowledge of integration standards and best practices
