Senior Interaction Designer
Salary: £44,241 - 44,241 per year
Requirements:- Experience engaging with people in a variety of ways when introducing design in teams, such as workshops or co-design activities.
- Experience using a variety of prototyping methods and creating and validating dynamic prototypes.
- Understanding of accessible and inclusive design, including relevant legislation such as the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulation 2018.
- Willingness to work towards the User Experience Fundamentals qualification.
- Willingness to work towards Introduction to Service Design in Government.
- Optional additional training: Certified Scrum Master Training Course.
- Design concepts, user journeys and user experiences across digital services based on user needs and project requirements.
- Apply technical knowledge and experience to create or design workable prototypes.
- Join the Digital Accessibility working group to help ensure compliance with Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulation 2018, including WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
- Apply agile project delivery techniques and collaborate with project team members and stakeholders at all levels in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, service managers and stakeholders to design and improve digital services.
- Use research, data and evidence to turn complex requirements into simple, effective interactions that meet user needs and align with organisational goals.
- Champion inclusive and accessible design.
- Facilitate collaboration across teams and contribute to the development of design standards, patterns and best practice.
