Senior Interior Designer
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to create detailed drawings for residential and commercial interior projects, translating design concepts into accurate plans and coordinating with project teams to ensure quality and precision.
Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D layout plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings to support interior design projects
- Convert design concepts, sketches, and site measurements into precise technical drawings
- Assist designers in developing space planning and design layouts for residential and commercial projects
- Produce drawings for client presentations, quotations, and project coordination purposes
- Revise drawings promptly based on design updates, client feedback, or site conditions
- Coordinate effectively with designers, project managers, suppliers, and site teams to ensure project alignment
- Verify accuracy of drawings by checking measurements, layouts, and details before submission
- Conduct site measurements when required to capture accurate spatial data
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and drawing preparation
- Knowledge of SketchUp, 3D Max, or other rendering software to enhance visual presentations
- Experience working on residential or commercial interior design projects
- Strong sense of space planning, design layout, and attention to interior details
- Ability to work independently with responsibility and care
- Effective communication and coordination skills within a team environment
