Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead residential and commercial projects from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative design concepts and execute space planning to optimize functionality and aesthetics for residential and commercial projects
- Create detailed 3D visuals to effectively communicate design proposals to clients
- Prepare accurate technical drawings and specifications to guide project execution
- Present design proposals clearly to clients, incorporating feedback to refine solutions
- Source quality materials and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence
- Collaborate with contractors and conduct regular site inspections to ensure design intent and quality standards are met
- Manage project budgets and timelines to deliver projects on schedule and within financial targets
- Mentor and guide junior designers to enhance team capabilities and project outcomes
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing interior design projects independently
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software for design development and presentation
- Knowledge of Singapore construction practices and regulations to ensure compliance
