Summary

Senior iOS Engineer builds and ships features for multiple consumer subscription apps using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, while improving shared infrastructure like analytics and subscriptions.

Applause is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to work across multiple consumer subscription apps, building both user-facing features and shared platform infrastructure used across the portfolio.

Responsibilities
Build and ship features across multiple iOS applications.
Develop with Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit.
Design scalable technical solutions for complex product challenges.
Improve architecture, performance, accessibility and reliability.
Build shared infrastructure including analytics, feature flags, subscriptions and release tooling.
Collaborate closely with Product, Design and Engineering.

Requirements
Strong production experience building iOS applications.
Excellent Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit knowledge.
Ability to maintain existing Objective-C code.
Expertise in at least one advanced Apple framework or domain (HealthKit, accessibility, audio, speech, background processing, sync, offline architecture, etc.).
Experience with multiple Apple frameworks.
Understanding of accessibility, offline synchronization and analytics infrastructure.
Experience with subscription platforms such as RevenueCat or Superwall.
Strong system design and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have
CI/CD and release automation.
Internal frameworks or SDK development.
Audio or speech technologies.
Open-source contributions or successful side projects.
Experience in consumer subscription products or mobile gaming.
