Senior iOS Engineer to advance Tesco’s Digital Design System (DDS) for iOS, building reusable UI foundations and clear APIs that support millions of users. You will partner with design, accessibility, product engineering, and DDS peers to keep experiences consistent and scalable. You’ll tackle design-to-development workflows, tooling, and documentation to improve onboarding, accessibility, and migrations. This role offers impactful work on shared platforms with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and collaboration.

• Create reusable iOS components and APIs with strong test coverage and accessibility support
• Improve developer tooling, documentation, onboarding, and migration tooling for consuming teams
• Translate DDS tokens, design intent, and interaction guidance into production-ready iOS implementations
• Collaborate to keep DDS implementations aligned across iOS, Android, React Native, and Web
• Lead with senior engineering craft: architectural judgment, code reviews, mentoring, and clear communication

• Build and maintain DDS platform components for iOS with accessible APIs
• Translate design tokens and states into production-level code
• Enhance developer experience through documentation and onboarding
• Collaborate across multiple platforms to maintain consistency
• Apply AI-assisted engineering tools judiciously to improve quality and speed
• Provide mentorship and strong technical communication
