Senior IP Network Engineer

Salary: $10,000 – $11,000 per month

About the role

VSTECS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a talented Senior IP Network Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Lavender, Central Region. As a Senior IP Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's complex IP network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

What you'll be doing

1. Designing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex IP network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure

2. Implementing and maintaining network security solutions to protect our systems and data

3. Monitoring network performance and identifying and resolving issues to ensure high availability and reliability

4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address network-related challenges and contribute to the overall success of the organisation

5. Staying up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and best practices to continuously improve our network infrastructure

6. Providing technical support and guidance to our internal teams and customers as needed

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior IP network engineering role, preferably in the Information & Communication Technology industry

2. Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex IP network solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies

3. Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and security principles

4. Hands-on experience with network management tools and software

5. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results

7. Familiarity with network automation and scripting tools is a plus
