Senior IT Analyst, DRT Data Engineering
- Consolidate and harmonize Payments Data
- Source, store, and distribute Payments Data to other solutions and reporting
- Support integrations for end-to-end payment flows in Nordea’s target payment architecture
- Elicit functional and non-functional requirements with stakeholders in a complex environment
- Clarify, elicit, and translate requirements into implementation specifications with product owners and stakeholders
- Communicate orally and in writing to align stakeholders on shared objectives
- Perform data mapping, data modeling, and solution design with information architects
- Contribute to solution design, application maintainability, and architecture
- Design near-real-time data pipelines and traditional analytics pipelines
- Perform quantitative and statistical data analysis, explain implications, and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with developers and test engineers
- Build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Own requirements documentation, including use cases, and quality improvement
- Promote analytical excellence, challenge assumptions and old ways of working, and promote best practices across teams
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in designing data-intensive solutions, data architectures, and integration patterns
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in the payment domain, including ISO20022, SEPA, and Swift messages
- Knowledge of banking-sector dynamics
- Understanding of requirement elicitation techniques and analysis
- Expertise translating business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications
- Experience with AI, including Copilot, LLM, and agentic solutions
- Excellent SQL skills, including Snowflake, MSSQL, or similar RDBMS
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Experience collaborating internationally with different stakeholder groups and cultures
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, or Google is beneficial
- Understanding of domain-driven design, event-sourcing architecture patterns, microservices architecture, and clean code is beneficial
- Understanding of CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, REST, Maven, and JUnit is beneficial
- Experience building distributed, highly available, and high-throughput applications is beneficial
- Experience with scalable data products and enabling users to become data-driven is beneficial
- Experience participating in building agentic solutions is beneficial
- Candidates in Finland are subject to security clearance
- Candidates in Poland must include the specified GDPR personal-data processing permit in their CV
