Seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst supporting complex enterprise-wide information systems in a banking environment. Focused on business process analysis, data analysis/design, SDLC, testing, stakeholder management, and production support.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Must have good project management skills;
- Must have strong business requirements analysis and translation skills;
- Experience across SDLC and software testing lifecycle;
- Experience writing test documents and performing functional tests;
- Must have proficiency in complex SQL database queries;
- Proficiency in flow diagram definition and design;
- Ability to prepare datasets for analysis and validation;
- UI/UX experience and proficiency in Figma mock-up definition;
- Strong stakeholder coordination between business and IT teams;
- Banking sector domain knowledge.
Desired Skill-set
- Knowledge of performance testing and associated tools;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with business users and onshore IT teams on functional requirements;
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into solutions;
- Prepare functional specifications, use cases, test strategies, and test cases;
- Build work breakdown structures and provide project estimations with technical teams;
- Prepare, maintain, and communicate functional documentation;
- Plan and execute qualification strategies and functional testing;
- Identify and prepare test data for testing and validation;
- Perform SIT before transition to UAT;
- Steer UAT and report status to project stakeholders;
- Identify, report, and escalate project risks and issues;
- Support project planning, schedules, milestones, and delegated project tasks;
- Provide L2/L3 production support and troubleshoot data anomalies/inconsistencies.
