Senior IT Business Analyst
Salary: $8,000 – $9,500 per month
About the role
We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst with a strong technical foundation to bridge business requirements and technology solutions. The ideal candidate should have prior hands-on software development experience in C#.NET / Microsoft platforms and have good experience in both Agile and waterfall methodologies.
Key responsibilities
Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and system requirements.
Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions.
Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
Analyze current and future-state business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Work closely with developers, architects, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to define effective solutions.
Leverage technical knowledge of C#.NET (or relevant technologies) and Microsoft platforms to assess application changes, integrations, technical feasibility, and system impacts.
Manage and support Microsoft-based business applications, including enhancements, incidents, integrations, and application lifecycle activities.
Support the full SDLC, including requirements, development, testing, UAT, implementation, and post-production support.
Coordinate with technical teams to troubleshoot application issues and ensure timely resolution.
Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements, technical standards, and operational needs.
About you
10+ years of overall IT experience, including at least 5 years as an IT Business Analyst.
Prior software development experience using C#.NET and Microsoft technologies is mandatory.
At least 3 years of recent experience managing, supporting, maintaining, or enhancing applications on Microsoft platforms.
Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and solution definition.
Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale IT projects.
Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
Experience with BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and UAT.
Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
Good understanding of Microsoft application architecture, databases, system integration, and APIs.
