The Career Works Limited Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist

Salary: $45,000 – $51,000 per month

Our client, a large commercial bank is looking to hire a Senior IT infrastructure Specialist.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Provide support for daily network operation and maintenance, including fixed (LAN/WAN) networks, wireless connectivity, and Internet services.

Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining next-generation firewalls to safeguard banking assets. including policy optimization, deploying Site-to-Site IPsec VPNs
Deploying and managing enterprise load balancer and Nginx, including virtual servers, pools, and custom iRules or traffic policies.to ensure seamless performance and high availability of critical banking applications.
Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing enterprise Wi-Fi networks, including mobility controllers, access points, management platforms and Network Access Control (NAC).
Partner with application development teams to design and provision robust network environments for development, testing, and production phases.
Provide high-tier technical troubleshooting to rapidly resolve complex network and connectivity incidents.
Actively share technical expertise and project experience with team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth. Demonstrate a strong understanding of team dynamics to work effectively across diverse engineering, development, and operational.
Assist to define network & security related policy and baseline.
Sound knowledge in EIGRP and OSPF technology
Overseas branch network support
Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by management

Able to facilitate cooperation among team members.
Manage 1-2 vendors and >2 counterparts for external connectivity management
Collaborate with various stakeholders of BU/SU for testing, solution rollout and problem resolution.

JOB COMPETENCIES

1. Business Knowledge

In-depth knowledge in network protocol such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP.
Hands-on experience in Cisco, H3C & Huawei network devices
Hands-on experience in different Firewall, F5 Load Balancer, Wi-Fi product
Maintain rule sets of web isolation, web proxy, DLP, etc
Familiar with the latest networking monitoring tools e.g. iMC, LEM, F5 i-rule etc.
Knowledge on various platforms’ operation system.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

1. Education Qualification

Higher Certificate / Diploma in Computer Science are welcome, Degree holder in Information Technology or Computer Science is preferred, not a must
