Senior IT Manager (Software & Infrastructure) - Leading Global Manufacturer

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per month

Company Background & Role Overview:

Our client is a highly reputable, multinational manufacturing enterprise, specialising in the end-to-end production of highly sophisticated commercial and consumer products. With extensive, multi-site production facilities across the APAC region, the business operates within a highly complex, high-volume supply chain and operational landscape.

They are seeking an experienced Senior IT Manager. In this high-impact executive role, you will define and execute the overarching technology strategy, spearhead major enterprise digital transformation initiatives, and oversee both in-house software engineering and regional infrastructure teams to ensure seamless cross-border business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the long-term vision for the enterprise systems portfolio, designing and implementing technology roadmaps that firmly support both immediate operational needs and overarching commercial objectives.

• Direct the end-to-end design and delivery of resilient IT platforms specifically engineered to handle complex, large-scale enterprise workflows.

• Drive system architecture to maximize user productivity. Enforce rigorous standards across software development, cybersecurity, and quality assurance.

• Oversee ongoing infrastructure resilience and system uptime, championing a culture of continuous enhancement driven by user feedback.

• Champion Agile and Scrum frameworks to build high-performing, adaptable IT delivery functions capable of scaling efficiently.

• Foster a forward-thinking engineering culture by evaluating emerging market trends and seamlessly integrating relevant technologies into the core product roadmap.

• Partner closely with cross-functional business leaders to guarantee that all IT initiatives remain tightly anchored to the company’s strategic priorities.

• Collaborate with local BUs to assess their operational needs and deliver tailored IT solutions, balancing global standardization with local market nuances.

• Manage external vendors.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of IT leadership role or in IT management within enterprise environments, with mandatory experience in the manufacturing or supply chain sectors.

• Demonstrated success in driving collaboration and alignment across cross-functional teams.

• Proven ability to translate complex operational bottlenecks into actionable, strategic IT solutions.

• Extensive experience managing both application development and infrastructure operations.

• A strong foundation in software development and programming is a big plus.

• Strong technical knowledge of large-scale ERP systems.

• Hands-on experience driving automation and large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent in English, with proficiency in Mandarin preferred.
