As the Technical Product Lead, you are entrusted with the responsibility to drive the discovery, design and delivery of digital solutions that improve client outcomes and empower frontline staff. Working closely with service groups, the Design Lead and Technical Lead within the Innovation Squad, you will translate operational challenges into practical and user-centred digital solutions. You will bridge business needs with technology, shaping solutions from idea through implementation while ensuring they are technically sound, scalable and aligned with organisational objectives.
You will also play an active hands-on role in evaluating technologies, building prototypes where appropriate, coordinating implementation with vendors, and supporting the adoption of AI-enabled and digital solutions across the organisation.
Job Responsibilities
Product Discovery & Solutioning
Work with service groups to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities for digital innovation.
Facilitate problem discovery, solution ideation and product definition.
Prioritise initiatives based on organisational impact, user value and feasibility.
Product Delivery
Drive end-to-end delivery of digital solutions from concept to implementation.
Coordinate implementation with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Define product requirements and acceptance criteria.
Support user testing, deployment and rollout.
Monitor adoption and continuously improve solutions based on feedback.
Technical Leadership
Provide technical direction for assigned digital initiatives.
Evaluate technologies, platforms and AI capabilities for suitability.
Design solution approaches involving APIs, integrations and automation.
Build proofs of concept or low-code prototypes where appropriate.
Work closely with the Technical Lead to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security and technology standards.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of experience in digital product delivery, solution architecture, software development, technical consulting or digital transformation.
Strong technical foundation with the ability to understand, evaluate and implement technology solutions.
Experience working with APIs, cloud platforms, system integrations and modern application technologies.
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
AI and Generative AI solutions
Low-code/no-code platforms (e.g. Microsoft Power Platform)
Workflow automation
Data visualisation and dashboards
SQL or basic data transformation
Experience working with external vendors and managing solution implementation.
Ability to translate business needs into practical and scalable digital solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and evaluate trade-offs.
Confident communicator who can engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Self-driven, curious and passionate about emerging technologies, AI and continuous learning.
