Role Description & Responsibilities
As an IT Network Consultant for the APAC region, you will serve as the primary point of contact for network infrastructure, supporting Level 2 Network Operations and assisting regional stakeholders on various projects.
Key initiatives include: deploying Palo Alto firewalls, refreshing LAN hardware, and setting up new sites.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Global Network Team to ensure alignment with the Network Architect and Network Service Manager for design standards and project handovers.
Your role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing network systems for secure and reliable data communication.
You'll analyze performance, troubleshoot issues, and deliver strategic solutions for efficiency and scalability.
Documenting network architecture and procedures is a key responsibility.
Working Hours:
You will primarily work during India daytime hours, with occasional flexibility required for APAC region projects.
Key Requirements
Excellent spoken and written English
Experience in providing 3rd line-level support for Juniper, Cisco, and Palo Alto equipment and services
Experience working in large global companies
Experience with ITIL framework
Application of structured project implementation methodologies (waterfall and agile)
Excellent technical skills in Cisco SDWAN (Viptela), Cisco ISE, Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager, Juniper Mist
Nice to Have:
Experience with implementing Network Access Control (802.1x)
Experience in managing network infrastructure in cloud (Azure, OCI)
Other Details:
We are seeking senior professionals with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing large-scale network infrastructures. Candidates should have hands-on expertise with Palo Alto Firewalls, and managing Cisco and Juniper LAN and Wi-Fi environments. We are looking for individuals who can lead projects from a technical standpoint, work independently, and take a proactive approach in their daily responsibilities.
