Senior IT Network Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Network Infrastructure) to lead the planning, implementation, and operations of on-premises and cloud network infrastructure environments. This role is responsible for managing network projects, cloud infrastructure initiatives, operational excellence, security compliance, and vendor management to ensure the delivery of reliable and secure IT services.

The ideal candidate combines strong project management capabilities with deep technical expertise in enterprise networking and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure Project Delivery

Lead the implementation of network and infrastructure projects from planning through deployment.
Gather and analyze user and infrastructure requirements.
Design and implement network solutions that align with organizational standards and objectives.
Evaluate emerging network technologies and recommend suitable solutions.
Ensure projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and budget.

Network Operations Management

Manage day-to-day operations of enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
Lead the resolution of critical network incidents and service disruptions.
Manage telecommunications circuits, maintenance contracts, and service providers.
Continuously review and optimize network performance and reliability.

Cloud Infrastructure Management

Plan, design, test, deploy, and maintain cloud network services.
Provide technical support and guidance for cloud infrastructure initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, access, and configuration issues.
Ensure cloud services meet operational and SLA requirements.

Procurement & Contract Management

Manage procurement activities for network infrastructure projects.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and project timelines.
Support contract renewals and vendor engagement activities.

Quality & Process Compliance

Monitor network service performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Review incident and service request statistics to identify improvement opportunities.
Support compliance with ISO-9000 and IT quality management requirements.
Enhance operational processes to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.

Security & Governance

Implement and maintain IT security standards and processes for network infrastructure.
Oversee security reviews, audit activities, and compliance requirements.
Manage system security configurations and patch implementation activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable security policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Education

Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise network infrastructure environments.
Proven experience managing network implementation and infrastructure projects.
Experience with:LAN/WANWireless NetworksFirewallsIPSMPLSIPv6Routing ProtocolsVPN Technologies
Experience managing network cabling projects and wireless access point deployments.
Hands-on experience with on-premises and cloud network infrastructure.
Experience with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

Certifications

CCNP or equivalent networking certification.
PMP or equivalent project management certification.

Skills

Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
Knowledge of enterprise networking solutions and industry best practices.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
