Senior IT Project Manager (Banking)
Description
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring completion within approved scope, timelines, and budget.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Lead and coordinate business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors.
Monitor project progress, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
Provide regular project status reports and escalate critical concerns to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with banking policies, project governance, and SDLC standards.
Manage project changes and ensure effective communication across all project teams.
Drive timely resolution of project blockers and delivery challenges.
Qualifications
Strong experience in IT project management, with a solid background in the banking or financial services industry.
Proven experience managing complex banking technology projects from initiation to completion.
Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, software development, and SDLC.
Experience in project budgeting, financial management, risk management, and resource planning.
Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
Nice to Have
PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certification.
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
Experience in test management and vendor management.
