Senior IT Project Manager
We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate several digitalisation projects within the justice and public-sector environment, including cross-border processes, road legislation and certificate exchanges.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation and solution definition through implementation.
- Develop project plans, roadmaps, timelines, milestones and resource planning.
- Manage scope, risks, change requests, budget and project validation.
- Coordinate and align a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor legally defined deadlines and take corrective action when necessary.
- Lead project teams and ensure effective collaboration, communication and delivery quality.
- Manage and optimise data flows between Belgian stakeholders and European partners.
- Analyse and document data exchanges, including cross-border information flows and e-CODEX integration.
- Provide clear reporting to management through reports, meetings, emails and dashboards.
- Use Jira and Confluence for project management and information sharing.
- Ensure compliance with data protection, regulatory and security requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management.
- Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with Agile and/or PRINCE2 methodologies.
- Experience with project planning, budget management, risk management and governance.
- Good understanding of data flows and information exchange.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a public-sector or regulatory environment is an advantage.
