Senior IT Project Manager – Wealth Management
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex technology projects within a Wealth Management environment. You will take end-to-end ownership of delivery, working closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, technology teams, architects, security, compliance, and vendors to deliver projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end project delivery, including planning, estimation, budget, resources, risks, and dependencies.
- Lead project governance and Steering Committees, providing clear reporting to senior management.
- Coordinate Product Owners, Business Analysts, development, testing, architecture, security, and other technology teams.
- Manage requirements at project level and ensure alignment across applications and system interfaces.
- Oversee SIT, UAT, release planning, implementation, and overall delivery quality.
- Manage project budgets, capacity, vendors, contracts, and maintenance costs.
- Identify blockers and complex delivery issues and drive stakeholders toward practical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with project governance, Secure Agile, and SDLC frameworks.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a complex, international environment.
Requirements
- Strong experience managing complex IT projects within Banking or Wealth Management.
- Excellent project planning, budgeting, estimation, resource, risk, and vendor management skills.
- Proven ability to lead senior stakeholders and project Steering Committees.
- Good understanding of the full SDLC, including requirements, development, testing, releases, and production implementation.
- Knowledge of regulatory and tax reporting such as FATCA, CRS/AEOI, IRS871m, German Tax or Client Tax Reporting is advantageous.
- Exposure to financial products, Corporate Actions, Securities, or Market Data is beneficial.
- Familiarity with core banking or Wealth Management platforms such as Olympic, Temenos Transact or Triple'A is a plus.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum/Waterfall and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
