Senior IT Security Specialist

One of our clients, a well established organization is currently seeking a suitable candidate to join their elite team.

Key duties include:

• Analysing potential security incidents escalated by SOCC, ITHD, MSS and TSLs to confirm breaches and assess business impact.

• Supporting operation of cybersecurity systems (AVS, EDR, SLP, SASE, TVMS, security rating/benchmarking platforms).

• Collaborating on risk assessments, developing mitigation/remediation measures, and knowledge sharing with other ITD teams.

• Handling incident escalation, communications and reporting to internal stakeholders, SOCC, providers, vendors and government authorities.

• Reviewing and improving incident processes/workflows/reporting.

• Assisting with development of incident management capabilities and related technologies.

• Enhancing managed security service operations (requirements, workflow analysis, testing, quality, evaluation).

• Supporting security operations/infrastructure and enforcement of security controls.

• Supporting vulnerability assessments and coordinating follow-up with TSLs.

• Implementing security projects with system integrators (testing, installation, production launch).

Requirements:

• Degree in IT / Computer Science / Information Technology or related discipline.

• Preferred certifications: CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, GIAC GCIH, GIAC GCIA, SEI/CSIRT certificates.

• Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience in information security incident handling or as a security analyst.

• Preferred: Managed Security Service project experience, SOC support experience; Aviation or Critical Infrastructure experience is an advantage.
