Senior IT Specialist (Digital Transformation)
Established as a wholly owned subsidiary of Sun Hung Kai Properties Ltd. in 1967, Hong Yip remains one of Hong Kong’s leading property and facilities management companies. Approximately, 1,700 blocks are currently managed by Hong Yip and these include private housing estate, luxurious houses, commercial and industrial buildings, shopping centres and government facilities.
We are looking for a hands-on Senior IT Specialist to drive the digital transformation of our estate management and clubhouse services. Combining Business Analyst and Systems Analyst responsibilities in one role, you will own our key digital platforms — including the estate management CRM system, clubhouse and facility booking applications, resident mobile app, web portals and CMS — and work closely with the sports centre management domain on venue booking and facility operations.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead discovery workshops, user interviews and stakeholder meetings across estate management, clubhouse and sports facility operations, and manage the end-to-end user requirement lifecycle (collection, documentation, prioritisation, change control and traceability)
Translate business requirements into user stories, process flows, data models and functional / technical specifications, and refine solution designs iteratively in an agile environment
Own the delivery and enhancement of the estate management CRM system, clubhouse / facility booking applications, resident mobile app, web portals and CMS, including integrations with the sports centre management domain
Manage delivery across the full environment lifecycle (DEV → SIT → UAT → Pre-Production → Production), covering test planning and execution, defect triage, release sign-off and deployment coordination
Liaise with business operations and external vendors to drive project timelines, and perform quality assurance on vendor deliverables to ensure they are complete, consistent and on time
Manage, monitor and optimise cloud resources on AWS and Azure, including cost analysis, and maintain cybersecurity measures for a secure and compliant cloud environment
Administer and optimise databases (SQL and NoSQL), troubleshoot database / backend / API performance, conduct load and stress testing, and prepare incident reports for service disruptions
Drive digital transformation and continuous improvement, including the practical use of AI and automation, process re-engineering, and guidance / training for internal system administrators
Who are we looking for:
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other relevant disciplines
At least 8 years of experience in web and mobile application delivery, with proven experience covering both Business Analyst and Systems Analyst responsibilities
Solid command of the software delivery lifecycle across DEV, SIT, UAT, Pre-Production and Production environments, including requirement, test, defect and release management
Hands-on experience managing cloud services on AWS and / or Azure, including cost optimisation, monitoring and security compliance
Solid knowledge of database administration and tuning (SQL and NoSQL), with experience in QA / UAT coordination and load / stress testing of web and mobile applications
Proven vendor management experience and familiarity with Agile / Scrum development
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills; good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese)
Experience in property management, clubhouse or sports facility booking systems, CRM platforms, DevOps / CI-CD, or AI / automation is an advantage; candidates with less experience will be considered as IT Specialist (Digital Transformation)
