Award-winning executive recruitment firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading global capital markets and brokerage firm. They are seeking an experienced Senior IT Support Specialist with strong knowledge of back-office systems used by the Stock Exchange of Thailand and a solid understanding of front-to-back office operations.

Job Summary

The role involves supporting trade matching, reconciliation, clearing, and settlement processes in the Thai market, while collaborating with front-office, operations, and settlement teams to ensure data accuracy and timely processing. The candidate will monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, assist with upgrades and enhancements, and provide technical support for trading and pre-settlement matching systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with front-office, back-office, and settlement teams to ensure accurate data processing and smooth operations.

• Support daily reconciliation and settlement activities, resolving discrepancies promptly.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors for resolution.

• Assist with system upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and testing of new enhancements.

• Provide technical support for the Pre-Settlement Matching System (PSMS) used in the Thai market.

• Ensure regulatory reporting accuracy and compliance with requirements from the Stock Exchange of Thailand and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand.

• Support Thai trading applications, exchange connectivity, and trade clearing and settlement processes, including post-trade reconciliation.

• Maintain system documentation and provide day-to-day technical support to internal users.

Job Requirements

• Extensive years of experience in the securities industry, supporting Thai stock exchange systems, particularly back-office IT systems and related infrastructure connected to the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

• Strong understanding of securities trading processes, including trade reconciliation, clearing, and settlement in Thailand, with familiarity with the local regulatory environment and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand.

• Experience supporting trading or back-office systems within a financial institution.

• Knowledge of IT platforms across desktop and workspace environments, including Windows, network connectivity, voice technologies, and data center operations.

• Familiarity with trading and market data platforms such as Bloomberg Terminal, IFIS, and Thai Quest is an advantage.

• Excellent communication skills in Thai and English.
