Senior IT Support Technician
Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year
Requirements:- 5-7+ years hands-on IT support experience, ideally within an enterprise or manufacturing environment
- Experience across Windows operating systems and enterprise endpoint management
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience with Active Directory, Exchange and identity management
- Experience with endpoint configuration and patching
- Experience with system hardening and security controls
- Experience with ITSM platforms
- Experience with incident, problem and change management
- Experience with root-cause analysis and technical problem-solving
- Experience supporting on-site infrastructure and end-user technology
- Experience mentoring other IT professionals would be valuable
- A full driving licence and car are required for this role
- Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex and critical on-site IT incidents
- Take ownership of high-impact issues from diagnosis through to root-cause analysis and permanent corrective action
- Support on-site infrastructure, end-user computing and manufacturing-adjacent systems
- Work across Windows environments, endpoint management, Active Directory, Exchange and identity management
- Support endpoint configuration, patching, system hardening and security controls
- Lead site-level IT projects including technology refreshes, infrastructure upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support incident, problem and change management within an ITIL-aligned environment
- Monitor recurring issues and service performance to help reduce incidents and downtime
- Support hardware standards and asset lifecycle management
- Work with global IT teams, vendors and third parties on technical solutions
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Level 1 and Level 2 colleagues
