Summary
Senior IT Systems Analyst who turns business requirements into technical specs and integration designs for banking systems and distributed enterprise apps. Daily work covers UML modelling, REST/Web Service integration design (Swagger, Enterprise Architect, PlantUML), coordination with architects/developers, and integration testing in a hybrid setup (1 day/week in Warsaw).
We are looking for a Senior IT Systems Analyst to support the analysis and design of complex banking system integrations and distributed enterprise applications. The role focuses on translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications, designing integrations using Web Services, microservices, SOA, REST APIs, and UML, and preparing technical documentation with tools such as Enterprise Architect, PlantUML, and Swagger. The consultant will work closely with architects, developers, and other IT teams to design reliable integration solutions, coordinate technical dependencies, and support integration testing and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
• Validate functional and non-functional business requirements
• Design integrations between IT systems
• Prepare UML diagrams, including use case, sequence, activity and component diagrams
• Prepare detailed integration designs using Swagger or similar tools
• Work with architects and developers on technical solutions
• Coordinate technical dependencies with other IT teams
• Perform initial integration testing
• Analyse integration errors and technical issues
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Systems Analyst in IT projects
• Strong knowledge of system integrations
• Web Services
• Microservices
• SOA
• Distributed systems architecture
• UML modelling
• Enterprise Architect, PlantUML or another CASE tool
• Swagger or similar integration documentation tools
• MS SQL or other relational databases
• Understanding of CRUD operations
• Experience analysing business and functional requirements
• Experience designing IT systems
• University degree in IT, economics or related field
• Fluent Polish
• English B2/C1
