Senior IT Technician
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 per year
The role
You would be the key technical contact for a set group of customers — the person they call for server, network and Microsoft 365 issues, and who they see onsite. That includes regular site visits and direct contact with their management, and being across the day-to-day health of their environment.
Alongside that, you'd run the projects behind those accounts as they come up: server migrations and infrastructure upgrades, network and firewall installs, device rollouts, new starter setups, workstation replacements, office moves and similar.
If you:
have excellent communication, problem solving and customer service skills, and are comfortable dealing directly with business owners and managers
have 5+ years of experience in IT support, with at least 2 at a senior or level 3 capacity — MSP experience strongly preferred
have advanced knowledge in setting up and managing:
Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory, including hands-on migration experience
Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID)
Networking and firewalls — routing, VLANs, VPN, DNS/DHCP (Sophos a plus)
can run a project end to end on your own, from scoping to completion
enjoy explaining technical issues to non-technical people in plain language
are comfortable being a go-to for less experienced technicians on trickier tickets
have a tertiary qualification in IT (Diploma or Degree level, or equivalent industry certification/experience)
have a full driver's licence and access to a vehicle for customer site visits
you should apply.
