Senior IT Technician

Highlands Campus is a thriving Christian community made up of a Church, Early Learning Centre and P-12 College.

The Senior IT Technician is a member of the IT Department, reporting to the IT Manager.

The Senior IT Technician works across the Highlands Campus to maintain software, hardware and IT equipment within the College, Church and Early Learning Centre to:

• Provide IT support

• Investigate hardware, software and device issues

• Resolve the more complex issues through research and investigation

• Lead and/or support the implementation of hardware and software

We are looking for a person with:

• Demonstrated ability to diagnose technical issues across a diverse fleet of more than 500 devices

• Demonstrated communication skills across a range of audiences

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• A solid technical foundation in Microsoft and Google services

• Experience managing and deploying networking equipment, routing, firewalls and virtual networks

• Experience with Microsoft Servers, Hyper-V and Linux

• Experience with Windows devices, predominantly Windows 11

Experience/Exposure to the following would be advantageous:

• Microsoft Intune, Jamf, PaperCut, Microsoft SharePoint, database administration, web services, security access control, and security cameras

• A School Management and or Learning Management System

• Automation of services and data flow through script development and APIs

Additional Requirements

• A relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent industry experience is expected
