Senior IT Test Lead
Summary
Contract role (Oct 2026 – Mar 2027) placed by emagine with a Life Sciences client in Greater Copenhagen: establish a requirements and test management setup (traceability, test strategy, execution) for a regulated GxP application, adapt IT QMS processes, and hand the setup over to internal teams.
On behalf of a client in the Life Sciences industry, we are looking for a Senior IT Test Lead / IT Quality Consultant to establish a practical requirements and testing setup for a regulated application and support the adoption of revised IT quality processes.
Main Responsibilities
• Define and implement a requirements and test management approach, including traceability between requirements, risks, test cases and test evidence
• Establish the test strategy covering functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing where relevant
• Lead test planning, execution and reporting, and define clear responsibilities across business, IT, QA and development teams
• Assess revised IT QMS processes and translate corporate requirements into practical local procedures and ways of working
• Perform gap and impact assessments and support the development of procedures, guidance, templates and governance
• Define sustainable lifecycle, change, release and operational practices and hand over the established setup to the internal teams
Key Requirements
• Significant experience as an IT Test Lead, Test Manager, Validation Lead, QA IT Consultant or similar
• Strong hands-on experience with requirements management, test strategy, test planning, traceability, defect management and test execution
• Experience establishing or improving testing approaches for incremental, agile or product-oriented software delivery
• Experience from pharmaceutical, life sciences or another regulated environment, preferably involving GxP and computerised systems
• Good practical understanding of IT QMS, SOPs, risk management, lifecycle management and change management
• Experience translating corporate or global requirements into practical local processes and operating models
• Understanding of classical IT applications, GMP computerised systems and IT/OT environments
• Experience with LIMS, laboratory systems, master data, Inorigo or similar platforms is an advantage
• Experience with ServiceNow, Azure DevOps or comparable requirements, testing and change-management tools is also beneficial.
