Senior Java & Apache Spark Engineer at BairesDev

As a Senior Java & Apache Spark Engineer, you will lead the design and development of large-scale distributed data processing systems. You will play a pivotal role in architectural decisions, ensuring that data pipelines and platform features are highly scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.

What You'll Do:

- Lead the design and delivery of complex platform features within the data engineering domain.
- Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy across data infrastructure teams.
- Build and optimize highly scalable distributed systems to handle large-scale data processing workloads.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence and align on technical roadmaps and solutions.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in Java and Apache Spark.
- Strong hands-on experience with Distributed Systems and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead the design and delivery of complex platform features and drive architectural decisions.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
