Senior Java Applications Developer

In this role you will design and deliver complex software solutions within Citi’s Event Master Central domain, enabling centralized action events across the enterprise. You’ll work within a cross-functional team to build robust microservices and maintain high-quality code and tests. The role focuses on modern Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST services, and CI/CD pipelines to support data-driven corporate action workflows. • Develop and implement complex software solutions using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and RESTful services
• Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices following architectural best practices
• Apply Core Java concepts (multithreading, collections) and Spring Framework
• Create and optimize SQL queries and ensure code quality with Sonar
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and manage source code with Git/Bitbucket
• Design and execute unit, integration, and functional tests
• Promote clean coding practices and OOP/design patterns
• Collaborate with a team to foster excellence and continuous improvement
