Location: Toluca, State of Mexico

Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs and AWS, to participate in the development, modernization and support of enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing backend solutions, troubleshooting production incidents, analyzing application logs, working with cloud environments and deploying applications through CI/CD pipelines.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Java 8 / 11 or higher.
• Spring Boot.
• Spring Framework.
• Development of Microservices.
• Development and consumption of REST APIs.
• Experience with SOAP Web Services.
• JSON.
• Swagger / OpenAPI.
• SQL.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
• Git-based version control.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.

AWS / Cloud Experience

Hands-on experience with AWS services such as:

• AWS Fargate
• EC2
• Lambda
• S3
• RDS
• API Gateway
• SQS
• CloudWatch
• AWS Secrets Manager

Experience deploying microservices and containerized applications in AWS will be highly valued.

DevOps / CI-CD

Experience working with:

• Jenkins
• Git / Bitbucket
• SonarQube
• CI/CD pipelines
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Application deployments across SIT, UAT and Production environments

Production Support & Troubleshooting

We are looking for candidates with experience in:

• Troubleshooting production incidents.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Application log analysis.
• Resolution of critical production issues.
• Performance and application monitoring.
• Code analysis and debugging.
• Supporting business-critical applications.
• Code reviews and Pull Requests.
• Production releases and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend components using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain microservices and APIs.
• Participate in modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
• Deploy and support applications in AWS environments.
• Troubleshoot incidents across SIT, UAT and Production.
• Analyze logs and identify root causes of application failures.
• Integrate applications with databases, APIs, Kafka and other enterprise systems.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, Product Owners and international teams.
• Ensure code quality and security standards.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

English

Advanced conversational English is mandatory.

The candidate must be comfortable participating in technical meetings, explaining incidents and solutions, discussing architecture and collaborating with international teams.
