Senior Java Backend Developer
Summary
Build and maintain Java-based enterprise backend services using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Develop and maintain enterprise backend services.
Design and build RESTful APIs.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
Perform code reviews and maintain engineering best practices.
Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis.
Optimize application performance and scalability.
Support production deployment and continuous improvements.
Mentor junior developers where required.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
4–7 years of Java backend development experience.
- Spring Boot
- REST APIs
- SQL Databases
- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and API security.
- Banking, Payments, or Financial Services experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
