About the Role
Optime-Tech LLC is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team in a remote US-based position. This role is ideal for an experienced backend engineer who enjoys building reliable, scalable applications and working with modern Java technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested production-quality code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
- Collaborate with developers, product stakeholders, and other technical teams.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Follow established software development and Agile practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong professional experience developing backend applications with Java.
- Strong knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot and backend application development.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
- Experience with microservices and distributed application architectures.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with software development best practices, debugging, testing, and version control.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
