Senior Java & Data Engineer builds scalable financial applications and data pipelines using Java, Oracle, and graph databases for capital markets.
We are currently looking for a highly experienced Senior Java & Data Engineer with over 10 years of technical background, preferably in Financial Services, Capital Markets, or Investment Banking environments. This is a great opportunity to work on high-impact projects within the financial sector.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust, scalable Java applications tailored to financial and capital markets use cases
- Build and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements
- Work with complex Oracle database systems, including design, optimization, and performance tuning
- Design and implement solutions using graph databases to model complex relationships and datasets
- Ensure high code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution architecture planning
Requirements:
- 10+ years of technical experience in software development and data engineering
- Proven expertise in Java programming, with strong coding and debugging skills
- Solid background in Data Engineering, including data warehousing and ETL pipelines
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Oracle databases
- Familiarity with graph database technologies (e.g., Neo4j, TigerGraph, or similar)
- Experience in financial services or capital markets is strongly preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams
Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
