Senior Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications in a collaborative Agile environment. You will work closely with stakeholders, lead the development of key components, mentor team members, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.


• Design and develop scalable Java applications following best practices.


• Lead the development of critical application components.


• Conduct code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability.


• Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing.


• Document technical solutions and contribute to continuous improvement.


• Participate in Agile ceremonies and DevOps practices.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of Java development experience.


• Strong knowledge of Java, PostgreSQL, and complex information systems.


• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (Git, Azure DevOps).


• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.


• Fluent in French or Dutch, with excellent English.

Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)
Start Date: 14 August 2026
Contract Duration: 1 month (extendable if applicable)
