Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using strong OOP principles.
Play an active role in requirements gathering and design workshops, contributing ideas and identifying gaps.
Mentor and pair with junior developers to support team growth and best engineering practices.
Implement and optimise microservices and distributed systems using GCP technologies (GKE, PubSub, BigQuery, Dataflow).
Design and maintain data processing pipelines across streaming, relational, and NoSQL systems.
Write and execute unit, integration, and non‑functional tests to uphold high code quality standards.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, research new approaches, and contribute to team discussions.
Support CI/CD processes with Jenkins and Git to ensure smooth deployments and automation.
Troubleshoot production issues, propose improvements, and stay ahead of emerging technologies.
Requirements
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java applications using strong OOP principles.
Strong communication skills to contribute to requirements gathering and design workshops.
Experience mentoring junior developers.
Proficiency in microservices architecture and GCP technologies (GKE, PubSub, BigQuery, Dataflow).
Knowledge of data processing pipelines across streaming, relational, and NoSQL systems.
Experience writing unit, integration, and non‑functional tests.
