Senior Java Developer (AI, Azure, AWS)

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong AI exposure to build reliable backend platforms in a high-ownership engineering environment. You will design Java Core and Spring Boot services using a microservices architecture style, REST, SQL, CI/CD, and Unit Testing, with deployments on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.

Responsibilities

• Design and build durable, scalable systems aligned with business goals and engineering standards
• Contribute to architecture discussions by sharing perspectives that guide project direction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on schedule while meeting quality expectations
• Review peer code and provide actionable feedback that supports strong engineering practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues throughout the development lifecycle
• Mentor junior engineers by sharing knowledge that builds skill and confidence
• Participate in planning sessions to shape scope and provide reliable effort estimates
• Monitor technology trends and apply useful techniques to current initiatives
• Document key technical decisions and approaches to preserve long-term codebase stability
• Partner with business stakeholders to clarify goals and ensure delivery matches commitments

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant, hands-on experience in a similar engineering position
• Applied knowledge of AI tools and core concepts to improve solution design and delivery
• Strong Java Core fundamentals and solid object-oriented programming skills
• Demonstrated use of Java 8 features in real-world development work
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot to build and maintain backend components
• Practical exposure to cloud environments on Microsoft Azure
• Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services for deploying and operating cloud solutions
• Sound understanding of CI/CD principles for automated and dependable releases
• Proficiency with SQL for querying and managing relational databases
• Proven experience building solutions with Microservice Architecture design standards
• Hands-on experience creating and integrating REST API interfaces
• Strong familiarity with Unit Testing practices to keep code quality consistent
• Awareness of Java-compatible NoSQL database technologies
• Effective English communication skills at a B2 level (Upper-Intermediate) or higher
