Senior Java Developer, AI Focus

Develop and maintain Java applications on versions 8, 11 and 17.
Build microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Batch and hexagonal architecture.
Develop integrations with MongoDB, Oracle, RabbitMQ and Kafka.
Implement automated tests using JUnit and Mockito.
Work on critical issues, technical investigations and troubleshooting.
Use AI tools in development, testing, code review, documentation and troubleshooting.
Work with context, prompts, knowledge bases and guardrails to improve the quality of AI-generated responses.
Critically evaluate code produced or suggested by AI, ensuring security, maintainability and adherence to the bank's standards.
Contribute to experiments involving LLMs, RAG, agents and automations applied to software engineering.
Use GitLab and CI/CD pipelines for versioning, integration and continuous delivery.

Requirements

Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, JPA and Spring Batch.
Experience with microservices and hexagonal architecture.
Knowledge of MongoDB and Oracle.
Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Proven expertise in unit and integration testing with JUnit and Mockito.
Experience with GitLab and CI/CD processes.
Hands-on experience using AI to support software development.
Knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering and context engineering.
Familiarity with RAG, agents, multi-agent systems and guardrails.
Ability to validate, correct and improve AI-generated outputs.
Experience in a banking environment.
